Putting it in the center The JoongAng is the mother brand for all things central, and as a master brand, it is made to be adaptable to various media and services. A consistent design system is applied to maintain the unity provided by the master brand of The JoongAng, including Monthly Central, JoongAng Sunday, and The Korea Daily.

We're moving to a more central red, a color that represents a dynamic, bold, and more impactful news platform. It's a vibrant color that's clearly visible at all sizes and resolutions. We're also using it to differentiate and group areas within the platform based on the nature of the content. We use red for breaking news and news content with an emphasis on immediacy, green for editorials and in-depth opinion pieces, and purple for specials with useful information.
